Platinum Sun Size Charts

Platinum Sun TM protective apparel is designed to be worn under the sun and in the water. It provides excellent UV protection. If you have questions about size, fit or style, talk to one of our Customer Service Representatives via the Chat with us box. We will be happy to help.

If your measurements fall between two sizes, the larger size is often better.

Rash guards are supposed to fit tightly like a second skin, so they don’t get in your way. However, the fabric is quite stretchy. When wet, the fabric will loosen up and stretch even more.

Rashguards that will be worn under wetsuits should fit tightly. If you don’t need a tight fit for under a wetsuit or active sports, feel free to order a size up.

Please remember the shirt bottom of the rash guard features a rubbery, silicone strip to prevent it from riding up. If you tend to wear smaller tops than bottoms, ensure the low-hitting strip at the shirt bottom won’t be too tight or restricting. If you have large hips and don’t need a tight rash guard for extreme sports, you can buy the next size up. Rash guards have a fit similar to wetsuits, so the same size usually works for wetsuits.

PROPER FIT GUIDELINES

The dry wetsuit MUST FIT SNUGLY. Properly fitting dry wetsuits are hard to put on. Wet
neoprene stretches, allowing more movement. After putting on your dry wetsuit, no extra room should remain in the torso, crotch, shoulders or knees. Although neoprene stretches a lot, take care not to force the zipper, which stretches less. Collar fabric will stretch when wet.

Order one size up to wear atop a wetsuit and/or harness. Choose your regular size to wear atop a swimsuit, skin or rashguard.

They run small – order a size up if unsure.
